• Measure your chest and waist at the largest parts while wearing your normal clothing.
• Men’s number sizing represents the measurement of the chest of the vest itself. So, for example, a size 48 vest means the vest measures 48 inches in the chest and the waists are normally about 3 inches or so smaller than the chest size.
• Take the largest of those two measurements and add 3-4 inches and choose your size.
• If your waist is larger than your chest measurement, then go by your waist, for example if your waist is 52 inches, you would need about a size 58-60 using the formula above.
